Taufik, Badminton World Champion 2005 and 2004 Olympic gold medalist said in Jakarta, Wednesday (15/8/2012), that he would quit a total of his professional career after going down in the Indonesia Open 2013 according to plan.
"I will focus on developing Taufik Hidayat Arena (THA) especially in terms of coaching young potential athletes," said Taufik.
In developing the THA in Ciracas, himself also will employ badminton clubs in Indonesia including the clubs own the SGS Bandung, West Java.
In addition to the mengandeng Club, said she, along with her team has been formed will monitor direct-seedling seedlings athletes into areas including monitoring national circuit during this match goes well in Indonesia.
"We will help talented young athletes to develop his ability," said Minister for women empowerment, daughter-in-law Linda Gumelar.
Taufik admitted, in THA it will also provide an opportunity for young athletes coming from underprivileged families to join. All expenses including accommodation will be borne entirely.
